The Barn

An architectural landmark located along the Sacramento River, The Barn is a 3,000-SF hybrid timber and steel structure with a 45-foot cantilevered roof bridging two distinct base pods. Its curved glulam beams form intricate trusses, wrapped entirely in hand-laid cedar shingles, creating an organic, flowing design.

Set on 2.5 acres, the surrounding landscape features decomposed granite and TechniSoil paving, turf, and native plantings, seamlessly integrating the structure with its environment. This one-of-a-kind gathering space blends innovative engineering with natural beauty, defining modern placemaking.
