Darrin Henry

Darrin joined Brown Construction in 2005 and has consistently demonstrated excellence as a valuable team leader. With two decades of experience in the construction industry, Darrin excels at managing the myriad details of his projects while maintaining a broad perspective on meeting timelines and budgets. He is an excellent communicator—professional, pragmatic, and collaborative. During his tenure at Brown, Darrin has built a proven track record as a successful project manager and later as a project executive. This, paired with his dedication to leadership, client care, and strong representation of Brown’s values, led to his promotion to Vice President of Construction Operations in 2023. In this role, he oversees all construction teams and provides executive oversight on half of Brown’s projects.

Darrin is committed to supporting the next generation of builders through his involvement with several nonprofit organizations focused on construction management education and workforce development. He has served on the board of directors for the Construction Industry Education Foundation since 2020 and the Sacramento Construction Management Education Foundation (SCMEF) since 2023. Since 2019, Darrin has also volunteered as a coach for the Sacramento State University Mixed-Use Project Team in the Associated Schools of Construction annual Construction Management Competition, and he has since taken on leadership of the entire competition for Sacramento State.
