Ken joined Brown Construction in 2015 and serves as Chief Financial Officer, leading the company’s financial operations with a focus on long-term stability, transparency, and strategic growth. A Certified Public Accountant with a degree in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento, Ken brings a depth of experience in financial reporting, strategic planning, and risk management—skills he honed during eight years in public accounting, working extensively with clients in the construction industry.
Ken’s leadership touches every aspect of Brown Construction’s financial operations. He works closely with staff, clients, subcontractors, and financial partners to ensure fiscal strength and clarity at every stage of a project. His analytical mindset and practical experience help the company navigate challenges, seize new opportunities, and remain a trusted, leading builder in the region. For Ken, strong financial stewardship isn’t just about the numbers—it’s about creating a foundation that supports people, performance, and purpose.
Beyond the office, Ken is actively engaged in both the industry and his community. He is an active member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and currently serves as Treasurer for Fairytale Town in Sacramento and on the Board of Directors for Cosumnes River Little League. Ken enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He is passionate about youth sports, coaching soccer and baseball, and volunteering in various capacities within his church.
