On Broadway

On Broadway is a 153,000-SF affordable housing development located along Sacramento’s Broadway corridor and adjacent to the city’s light rail line. The project includes 140 units across two five-story podium buildings, with 37 units designated for permanent supportive housing. The buildings feature four levels of Type VA residential over a Type IA podium and offer a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units—15% of which are fully accessible and 85% adaptable. Ground-floor amenities include leasing offices, a community kitchen, a laundry room, a package concierge, secured bike storage, and 3,600 SF of retail space. Outdoor features include two courtyards with playgrounds, tuck-under and secure surface parking, and through-building driveways. The site layout was carefully designed around several constraints, including overhead power line easements and proximity to light rail tracks.
