Villas on the Park

A first-of-its-kind project for Downtown San Jose, Villas on the Park is an 84-unit supportive housing community designed to provide transitional and permanent housing for the homeless. Situated on a 0.4-acre urban infill site and spanning 62,000 SF, this thoughtfully designed development maximizes the unit count within a dense urban setting.

The six-story structure features five stories of Type IIIA wood construction over a Type IA cast-in-place concrete podium, optimizing urban density. Amenities include a rooftop deck and garden, providing green space and respite in the heart of the city. The ground-floor garage enhances accessibility, while communal areas support resident well-being and engagement. Sustainability was a key priority, and the project achieved GreenPoint Rated Gold certification, reflecting its commitment to energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.
