Arthur F. Turner Library (Yolo County)

18,000-SF public library in West Sacramento with community tech access, children’s center, meeting spaces and modern amenities

The Arthur F. Turner Library is an 18,000-SF, single-story civic facility built for Yolo County to replace the former library on the site. Constructed using light-gauge steel and wood framing, the new library includes public workstations with integrated WiFi, computer labs, a dedicated children’s center, administrative offices, and a flexible meeting/conference room. Enhanced with a secure key card access system and intrusion alarm, the building supports both daily community use and county operations. Designed to be open, accessible, and technology-forward, the new library serves as a vital public resource and a hub for learning in West Sacramento.
