Collin began his construction career more than 40 years ago, bringing broad experience as a general contractor, subcontractor, and owner’s representative to his role. He joined Brown Construction in 2009 as a senior project manager and quickly became a trusted leader among clients and internal teams alike. In 2012, Collin was promoted to Director of Preconstruction, where he now leads Brown’s estimating and preconstruction services with a focus on early collaboration, clear communication, and long-term value.
With a degree in Construction Management from California State University, Sacramento, Collin has led a diverse range of multifamily and commercial developments—some as large as 652 units—and has cultivated a deep understanding of how to align design, budgeting, and scheduling from day one. His leadership has helped establish Brown as a preferred partner for clients seeking thoughtful, proactive guidance through the earliest stages of development.

Collin is known for his hands-on approach, technical knowledge, and ability to build trust across teams. He is deeply committed to growing the industry’s next generation of professionals, having led and mentored Sacramento State’s ASC competition teams for more than 15 years. Outside of work, Collin enjoys life in Northern California with his wife of over 35 years and their two adult sons. He spends his free time kayaking the Sierra alpine lakes, crafting small-batch wines from Sonoma grapes, and brewing West Coast IPAs—bringing the same level of care and precision to his hobbies as he does to every project.
