“My passion is the hunt—I love the challenge of pursuing new opportunities and collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, developers, and owners to bring a successful project to life.”
Jeannine Long first joined Brown Construction in 2012, bringing decades of business development experience and a proven track record across multifamily, student housing, senior living, and hospitality sectors. As the company’s first Director of Business Development, she played a key role in expanding Brown’s reach into new markets and project types, driving record-setting growth and helping secure the largest contract in the company’s history at that time.
After more than six years with Brown, Jeannine continued to build her expertise in the industry, strengthening her strategic insight and client network. In 2025, she returned to Brown with renewed focus, applying her relationship-driven approach and deep market knowledge to support the company’s evolving business goals. Jeannine’s leadership style is characterized by resolve, tenacity, and a long-term perspective on success. With a sharp eye for opportunity and a commitment to client alignment, she continues to shape Brown’s forward-looking approach to growth and development.
Beyond her work, Jeannine is deeply committed to her community and local neighborhood. She serves on the board of the Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers and is an active member of Granite Bay Bayside Church. This dedication to care and service reflects the same values she brings to her professional role every day.

Outside of the office, Jeannine is passionate about helping rescue and foster chickens on her land.
